Based in Birmingham, Alabama with offices in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Huntsville, Alabama, Signature Homes has created more than 30 communities across the southeast and provided more than 3000 families with a new home. Our company was founded in 1999 by Dwight Sandlin, Jonathan Belcher and Clark Watson. Today, Signature Homes has grown to include 75 full time employees engaged in site selection, development, strategic planning, estimating, architectural services, accounting, technical services, sales and marketing. We are ranked 119 on Professional Builder's 2008 Top 400 Giants list.

We are committed to supporting the causes of communities where we build, having donated 77 acres for a city park and constructed outdoor classrooms/gazebos for elementary schools. We had the privilege to build a home for a deserving family through ABC-TV's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and several homes through Habitat for Humanity's Builder Blitz. Each time we participate in such worthwhile community projects, we get more out of it than we give. We're also committed to creating unique neighborhoods that enhance the lives of our customers and improve the quality of life within an area.

We're not you're ordinary homebuilder. Our management team comes from diverse backgrounds - banking, retail, telecommunications, energy exploration, food service, architectural design - and that helps us tackle the challenges of real estate development in creative ways. We're also a young company with lots of energy and enthusiasm, committed to building the best communities and having fun while we do it.
